How Orbit works with Apple Find My

Orbit is a small Bluetooth tracker that works with Apple's Find My network.

• Nearby: within Bluetooth range (up to 60 m / 200 ft in open space) you can make your Orbit play a sound from the Find My app.
• Far away: when your Orbit is out of range, hundreds of millions of Apple devices around the world can detect it and report its location to you, anonymously.
• One app: Orbit shows in Find My next to your iPhone, iPad, Mac and AirPods. You can see it on iPhone, iPad, Mac, or in the Find Items app on Apple Watch.
• Private: the Find My network is encrypted and anonymous. Nobody else, not even Apple or Orbit, can see where your Orbit is.
• Lost Mode: if your Orbit goes missing, put it in Lost Mode to show a message and your contact details to anyone who finds it.

You don't need any other app or account. Everything happens in Find My.

Android: current Orbit models work with Apple Find My only. Support for Google's Find Hub is coming with the new Orbit Duo versions. See Google's Find Hub (Android): coming with Orbit Duo.
